There is no secret that FC Barcelona is looking for a new striker. But the questions remains: whom?
Barcelona has this season managed to reached the Spanish Cup final and are only a point behind Atlético de Madrid in the league. Next up is Real Madrid in El Clásico, but the big talk this spring has been the next great signing the club should make.
There’s no secret that Barcelona has had financial issues, but with Laporta’s new presidency and the financial muscles he has managed to pull off, the club looks in good shape to rumble a bit in the transfer market this coming summer.
Although Griezmann’s stats have been fairly good, there’s no doubt that a player of his caliber should perform even better. The rumors have it that he and Coutinho are two possible exits from the club. One big reason is to be able to make room financially to pull off the signing of Dortmund’s striker Haaland. The strong Norwegian has pulled off some great stats and it’s to be reminded that he’s very young as well.
Another striker that’s been on the radar is Mbappé, however his move to Barcelona seems less likely. The two players are very different when it comes to qualities. It’s like a new couple of Messi/Cristiano Ronaldo.
