The former FC Barcelona player Neymar Jr. is still an interesting recruit for Barça and the club is looking at the options to bring him back.
It was big news when Neymar Jr. decided to leave Barcelona for PSG for around 200 million Euros, the most expensive transfer of all times. Since then the Brazilian hasn’t hidden his wish to return to the Catalan city as well as reunite with his great friend Lionel Messi.
The two options Barcelona has is to either include Griezmann or Dembélé, although the second one seems less probable give his current form.
However, if Barcelona decides not to go for Neymar Jr. this summer, they know that his contracts with the Parisian club ends a year later (2022), in which case he would become a free agent. The wing player is already 29 years old, in 2022 he would be 30, and although he would come for free, he wouldn’t be cheap salary wise.
A lot depends as well on Messi’s future in the club, a player whose salary also weighs heavily on Barcelona’s bank account.
